The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning across the North East for Sunday coming, as the sizzling spring sunshine comes to a temporary end.
The warning is in place throughout the whole of Sunday, and experts say that heavy rain and thunderstorms will bring a chance of disruption to parts of England and Wales.
Forecasters predict that spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions, as well as a number of road closures. Meanwhile, there's a small chance that homes and businesses could quickly become flooded.
