The Met Office has issued 18 hours of weather warnings for Merseyside as more stormy weather is on its way.
Thunderstorms and torrential downpours are forecast for the city on Sunday and Monday when two yellow weather warnings are in place. The first warning for thunderstorms came into force at midday on Sunday and lasts until 9pm tonight.
A further yellow weather warning for thunder has also been issued from midday until 9pm on Monday. According to the Met Office, thunderstorms and torrential downpours may bring disruption to parts of the country during this time.
The latest forecast comes after thunderstorms swept across the region on Saturday after a day of sunny weather.

Here's what to expect from the latest weather warnings:
- Flooding of homes and businesses could happen quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- Some communities might become cut off if roads flood
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- Power cuts might occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
- Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life
