The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Yorkshire which will cover parts of Leeds. A spell of very windy weather is expected to affect the Irish Sea coastal areas on Wednesday (November 3), before spreading to parts of northern England.
A statement from the Met Office says: "A spell of very strong southerly or southwesterly winds will affect some western coastal areas during Wednesday, before spreading inland during the afternoon.
"Gusts of 55-65 mph are expected, especially in exposed coastal locations and over higher routes, with some sudden strong gusts of wind possible at times.
"Some further heavy rain is also likely during Wednesday, especially across parts of SW Scotland, Cumbria and W Wales."

North and West Yorkshire are the most likely to be affected with strong winds. The warning will be in place from 7am on Wednesday until 8pm in the evening. The weather map will cover Bradford and reach the edge of Leeds.
People across the county should expect delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport. Public transport services will likely be affected with some journeys taking longer.
There may also be a loss of power for a short time and the expectation that coastal routes, sea front and coastal communities could be affected by large waves.
