A yellow weather warning is in place across the North East - with the Met Office warning "freezing fog" could cause problems on Tuesday morning, including potentially flight cancellations.
The warning applies in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland and County Durham - though weather forecasters do not think it will spread north to Northumberland. The warning is in place across vast areas of the east of England stretching down to London and Kent.
The warning suggests that until 10am: "Areas of fog are likely to cause some travel delays on Tuesday morning."

While there have been some flight delays around the country due to the fog, this has yet to be the case at Newcastle Airport.
The Met Office said: "Large areas of fog have developed across much of England overnight with visibility of 50-100 metres in many places leading to some challenging travel conditions. Fog will gradually lift through mid to late morning."
The forecaster has the following advice for air passengers: "Check with your airline if you think a delay is possible. On most occasions the advice will be to arrive at the airport as normal but sometimes that will change.
"When very severe weather is expected, airports and airlines may work together to implement planned cancellations to some flights. This helps to minimise the delays to remaining flights and, although it may be later than expected, it helps most passengers get to their destination as quickly as possible."
