The Met Office has issued a warning of "extreme heat" in Leeds later this week, saying that the temperatures could lead to a danger to life.
The UK is expected to swelter throughout this week, with temperatures set to exceed 30C in some parts of the country. Now the Met Office has issued an amber warning for much of the country, including Yorkshire, this coming Sunday (July 17).
The Met Office states that "some exceptionally high temperatures are possible during Sunday and could lead to widespread impacts on people and infrastructure".
