Met Office hour by hour forecast for Nottingham as clouds and showers predicted during high temperatures

The forecasters have predicted Nottingham will see a fairly cloudy day with some showers, despite the high temperatures. In their summary, the Met Office said: "Cloudy changing to light showers by lunchtime." They also explained UV light would be high and that pollen would be very high.

Highs of 26C are expected, but the day will start a little cooler, with 20C the likely temperature at 9am. From 9am to 11am this will rise just slightly to 21C, with a 10 per cent risk of rainfall during that period.

From 12am to 1pm the temperature will rise again to 23C, but during this time there will be a higher chance of a light shower at 30 per cent. Between 2pm and 3pm the heat is expected to rise once more to 25C and the chance of rain will drop to under five per cent, but it will be cloudy.

Sunny intervals will return at 8pm, but the temperature is expected to start to drop - measuring in at 25C. At 9pm the heat will remain the same, but there should be less clouds.

During the night there will be clear skies and the temperature will dip to 23C by 11pm.
