The Met Office has forecast snow for Leeds next week.
Everybody loves the festive season, and Leed's Christmas spirit is already on peak display almost everywhere. The idea of a white Christmas is still possible but snow in the build-up towards that is always appreciated.
Now, it appears, confirmation of the first December snow showers has come through. Snow is expected in Leeds on Friday, December 9, less than a week from today.

Temperatures are expected to drop massively from Wednesday, December 3, going as low as a maximum of 3C. This will carry on into Friday, December 9 when early morning showers will end in some snow.
In Leeds, the snow is expected to start around 7am. It will carry on until midday.
There is also a huge possibility of sunny spells, even as the snow falls. This would make a beautiful scenery where the white stuff hits the yellow sun lit backdrops.
