Met Office forecasters have predicted two hours of thunderstorms could hit Nottinghamshire on Monday afternoon, June 19. Many parts of the county were hit by light shows on Sunday, with heavy downpours hitting a number of areas into the evening.
According to the latest forecast, there is a 50 per cent chance of thunder in the Nottingham area at 2pm and 3pm on Monday, with some rain forecast from 1pm. For the rest of the day, however, it will be largely bright and dry, with highs of 24C expected later in the afternoon.
