A Met Office yellow weather warning for fog covers part of Nottinghamshire - with forecasters urging people to be aware of the prospect of slower journey times by car and possible delays to bus and train services.
The warning, which covers Newark-on-Trent, Bingham and villages on the Leicestershire border, is in place until 11am on Sunday (December 11). Forecasters say areas of fog, particularly those areas where fog is dense and freezing, will impact journey times.
The Met Office has also warned of possible delays to public transport, such as buses and trains, as a result of the weather. Slippery surfaces may prove to be an additional hazard.

There is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights, the Met Office said. Temperatures across the country have plummeted as the cold snap continues.
A separate yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for the east and southeast of England, from 6pm on Sunday through to 9am on Monday, December 12. This warning covers the likes of London, Chelmsford, Canterbury and Brighton.
