The UK will finally start to see the back of winter this weekend as the temperatures get back into double figures at last.
With many children off school next week for half term - the weather looks good enough to enjoy a day out - although you are likely to still need to wrap up.
Saturday sees the beginning of a week of settled conditions, and with cloudy skies the temperatures are able to reach the dizzy heights of 13.8° in Aberdeenshire.
The middle of the week will see highs not dipping below 10 across the country during the week, with London stretching to 12°, Plymouth also seeing 12° and Aberdeen topping out at 13°.
Met office spokesman Oli Claydon told the Mirror: "Across the UK we have quote a bit of cloud which will make it much milder.
"We will see highs of double figures across the country, with 12° in London on Saturday and 13° in Aberdeen.
"It drops a touch on Sunday with 10 and 11 in most places with similar figures on Monday and by Tuesday and Wednesday we are seeing 12° in Plymouth in the South West.
"Clearer skies however later in the week mean there is still a chance of frost overnight and fog."
Mr Claydon added that high pressure above the UK was keeping the temperatures stable, adding that they are slightly above average for this time of year.
"High pressure over the UK is bringing us stable conditions and as that moves away we will start to see unsettled conditions in the north and north west.
"A new band of high pressure is then coming in from the west, bringing with it some good weather for the south west."
