November 5, which is also known as Bonfire Night, Fireworks Night or Guy Fawkes Day, will take place on a Saturday this year, with many flocking to London to celebrate and watch the skies come to life with a range of firework shows in the city.
Whether you are planning to perch on Primrose Hill to watch the city light up, or you want to enjoy fireworks and sparklers from the comfort of your own garden, it's best to know the weather forecast on Bonfire Night to ensure that you prepare for a possible downpour.

What will the weather be like in the run-up to fireworks night?
November is traditionally the month where the weather starts to take a turn for the worst ahead of the colder months, with rain and clouds often taking over the weather forecast.
If you're planning on visiting or holding a firework display before November 5, here's what the weather will be like on the evening of November 3 and November 4, according to the Met Office.
Thursday, November 3
If you're hoping to watch some fireworks tonight in the capital, it's set to be cloudy all day with some light rain at around 5pm.
The rain will clear by 6pm but the skies will remain cloudy for the rest of the evening.
The temperature will remain a consistent 10 degrees tonight, so you may need a coat if you're venturing outside to watch some fireworks.
Friday, November 4
If your Friday night plans involve sparklers and bonfires, you're in luck as Friday is set to be one of the best days for being outside in the capital.
The skies will be clear all day, with sunshine expected before sunset at 4.29pm.
From 5pm, it will be clear with temperatures between 10 and eight degrees throughout the evening.
What will the weather be like in London on Bonfire Night?
On November 5, it's set to be cloudy all day with some heavy rain during lunchtime, moving to light rain by the evening, according to the Met Office.
From 3pm, the chance of light precipitation is currently 50%, so firework fans will need to ensure they bring an umbrella if they wish to watch a display in the city on November 5.
Sunset will take place at 4.27pm and the temperature will remain a consistent 13 degrees throughout the evening.
What Bonfire Night events are taking place in London?
There will be many bonfire and firework displays taking place in the capital this weekend.
Sadly, the Alexandra Palace firework event is already sold out but if you're lucky enough to have tickets, you'll not only be able to watch an amazing firework display, but you'll also see performances by DJ Trevor Nelson and a Spice Girl tribute act called Wannabe.
If you fancy take a trip to Morden Park, there are still tickets available for their firework display on November 5 at 7.15pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £7.50 for children (plus booking fee), while those aged under four get in for free.
Kempton Park will also be hosting a firework display this year on November 5, with gates opening at 5pm ahead of the 7.30pm fireworks.

If you'd prefer to watch fireworks from a high-point in London without splashing the cash, Primrose Hill, which is north of Regents Park, is a great place to catch the night sky light up on November 5.
Parliament Hill in Hampstead Heath also has great views of the city as well as Greenwich Park in Greenwich and Telegraph Hill in Lewisham.
