A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms across Nottinghamshire has been put in place by the Met Office. Forecasters predict heavy thunderstorms could hit at any time between 1pm and 8pm on Thursday, June 22.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Heavy showers and thunderstorms causing some flooding and disruption in a few places." The warning is for areas as far north as Leeds and down to Oxford and encompasses most of the East Midlands.
The current forecast for suggests rain could hit throughout the afternoon in Nottingham, with temperatures hitting highs of 24C. Here is the forecast for the rest of Friday, June 22.
