Dubliners will breathe a sigh of relief as the capital is set to enjoy a dry and sunny day before the rain makes a comeback.
However, Met Eireann warned that unsettled conditions are here to stay with more rain on the cards for next week.
Today will be largely dry with glorious sunny spells and mild temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees.

Tonight will also enjoy dry weather with the lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in moderate southwest winds.
Heavy rain will dominate tomorrow morning but will clear to scattered showers and sunny spells in the afternoon with the highs of 15 to 16 degrees.
While there is no further forecast for Dublin, here is what the national outlook says:
Friday night
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Showers will ease and become confined to western coasts on Friday night and it'll be dry for a time with clear spells.
"Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds.
Saturday
"There'll be further afternoon showers on Saturday, most frequent in the west and north, and becoming confined to the west coast overnight.
"Highest daytime temperatures 13 to 17 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds, the lower values in the north, and falling back to 10 or 11 degrees overnight.
Sunday
"There'll be a few further showers on Sunday with temperatures up to 18 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, freshening through the day."
