A yellow weather warning is in place for some parts of Ireland as heavy rain and strong winds are forecast.
The alert for rain for counties Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo comes into effect at 2am today and remains in place until 2pm.
Met Eireann predicts strong and gusty winds along with heavy rainfall and localised flooding.

A forecaster said: “Wet and windy on Friday morning with widespread outbreaks of heavy rain along with some squally downpours. Spot flooding possible.
“Rain will clear eastwards into the Irish Sea in the afternoon with sunny spells and showers following from the west.
“Highest temperatures of 14C to 17C in strong and gusty winds.”
The weather will clear up tomorrow with sunny spells expected while Sunday will be a mainly dry day with highs of 16C and just a few showers.
