Ireland is set to see some stunning sunshine over the coming days as temperatures continue to rise, reaching up to 32 degrees in places by next week.
Met Eireann has forecast dry and sunny spells to spread across the country this week. However, one day will see more unsettled conditions.
Tomorrow will bring scattered showers, but they should clear away in the afternoon to give way to sunshine.
A forecaster said: "Latest ECMWF model forecast for temperatures show up to 28c by Sunday, 30c Monday and possibly even as high as 32c on Tuesday! Also staying warm at night with a chance of a tropical night where it doesn't go below 20c."
They added: "This is the model Met Éireann use at medium range and it actually shows 32c possible next Tuesday!"
Met Eireann has issued a high temperature advisory for Ireland as it experiences a hot spell Sunday and into early next week.
Daytime temperatures will widely reach the high twenties, possibly exceeding 30 degrees in some locations.
It will remain uncomfortably warm overnight too.
The advisory will remain in place until Wednesday, July 20.
Meanwhile, a few further showers will develop in Ulster and Connacht this evening with some sunny intervals.
Elsewhere will remain predominantly dry with sunny spells, but the odd shower may drift into northern parts of Leinster and Munster this evening.
Highest temperatures ranging between 16 degrees in the northwest and 22 degrees in the southeast, in a light to moderate west to northwest breeze.
Scattered showers will continue in Ulster and Connacht tonight, but elsewhere it will be dry with clear spells.

A few mist patches will form also. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a light westerly or variable breeze.
Most areas will be dry with sunny spells tomorrow morning, although there will be a few showers in Ulster.
The afternoon and evening will generally become cloudier, and some showers will drift further south.

It will be dry with long clear spells and isolated mist and fog during the night with lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in a light and variable breeze.
Saturday will be dry with spells of hazy sunshine. However, it will become cloudy during the afternoon and evening, with possible isolated showers.
Warm with highs of 20 to 25 degrees in a light south to southeast breeze.
Most areas will stay dry with clear spells overnight, but it will be cloudier in the northwest and north, which will bring a few showers.
Milder than previous nights with temperatures remaining above 12 to 15 degrees.
Dry with hazy sunshine and light winds on Sunday and Monday.
Very warm or hot as temperatures widely reach the mid-twenties and possibly the high twenties in some places.
