Dublin will have a blustery day but fortunately is just missing out on a Met Eireann weather warning.
The capital will see strong winds and unsettled conditions today with highest temperatures from 9 to 10 degrees. There will also be some sunny spells.
Meanwhile, weather in other parts of the country will be much more turbulent thanks to a Yellow Status weather warning for strong winds. Met Eireann issued the alert for Clare, Cork, Kerry and Galway with gusts reaching speeds of 90 to 110 km/h.

The yellow warning will come into effect at 1pm tomorrow and will remain in place until 7pm Here is the weather forecast for the next few days.
Thursday night
Thursday night will be blustery with clear spells and scattered showers heaviest and most frequent in the west with hail and isolated thunderstorms possible. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
Friday
Friday will bring sunshine and showers, mainly to the west and northwest. There will be a fair amount of dry weather to the east and south. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with moderate southerly breezes. Much of Friday night will be dry. However, rain will move in from the west overnight with strengthening southerly winds. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees.
Saturday
Saturday morning will be wet and windy as rain spreads eastwards across the country with fresh to strong, gusty southerly winds. sunshine and showers will follow. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.
Sunday
Sunday will be bright and breezy with sunshine and showers, some heavy. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with moderate to fresh southwest winds.
