The nation is in for a pleasant week of sunshine in most areas with only isolated showers and warm temperatures expected.
While many are in for a good deal of calm weather on the route into autumn, others will experience showers and slightly lower temperatures - and Met Eireann has pinpointed where will be worst affected.
There will be a good deal of cloud early today as mist and fog patches settle and some drizzle is expected over parts of Ulster - but sunny spells will feature in a number of southern parts too.

It’ll be a largely dry day for most as the afternoon approaches with variable cloud, although a few light showers will continue to affect the north coast and highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees are expected in mostly moderate northwest breezes.
Tonight will be dry in most areas, apart from the odd light shower near the north and west coast. There will be a good deal of cloud but with some clear spells in southern parts - and some mist or fog patches are possible too. Meanwhile, lowest temperatures will drop to 7 to 11 degrees.
Thursday will be mainly dry with just a few isolated light showers. There will be variable and often large amounts of cloud, with some bright or sunny intervals too.
Highest temperatures will range from 14 to 17 degrees with moderate north to northwest breezes.
Thursday night will also be largely dry with clear spells and just isolated showers near northern coasts as temperatures drop to 5 to 9 degrees with light or moderate north to northwest winds.
Friday will be another dry day for most with a mix of cloud and sunny spells and a moderate northerly breeze which will be fresh at times in the north and northeast.
Isolated showers are possible, mainly over Ulster and highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees are expected in the north while 15 to 17 degrees are expected in the south.
It will continue to stay dry overnight but will turn chilly with lows of 3 to 7 degrees with very light variable or northwest breezes.
Mist and fog patches will clear on Saturday to make way for a mainly dry day, and there will be light winds making it cool with some sunny breaks and highs of 13 to 16 degrees.
As for the weekend, the Irish forecaster states that “Saturday night and early Sunday will see thicker cloud bringing some patchy drizzle to the north and east but elsewhere it will remain mostly dry.
“Some brighter spells will develop later on Sunday and temperatures will reach 14 to 17 degrees.
Speaking about Monday onwards, they predict “next week will start mainly dry, apart from a few showers, and will turn a little milder. However, some rain may develop by around mid-week.”
