Ireland is set for a glorious week of weather as temperatures climb as high as 25 degrees in places.
However, although temperatures will remain high, Met Eireann has pinpointed one day next week to see less favourable conditions.
Tuesday will see heavy showers in places, but thankfully mist and fog will give way to long spells of sunshine as the day continues.
A forecaster said: “Still some uncertainty around Tuesday, but rainfall amounts look low for most and the main models, the South and Southeast may even escape most.”
They added: “Temperature forecast for the next two days with your to 25c possible by Sunday. Best of sunshine will be Sunday when most areas should see some sun.”
Here is a more detailed look at Met Eireann’s forecast.
Today, July 9
Sunny spells in Munster and south Leinster but quite cloudy in other areas with patches of drizzle, mist and fog.
Through the afternoon and evening, the cloud will break up in most areas but will persist in the northwest, where there will be patchy drizzle.
