Met Eireann has issued a wind warning for the entire country as "unseasonably strong" winds are set to hit Dublin and the rest of the country this weekend.
The six-hour weather Status Yellow Wind Warning begins at 6am to 12pm on Saturday, 8 July. The warning from Met Eireann reads: "Unseasonably strong southeasterly winds overnight and for a time on Saturday morning, strongest in southern and western coastal areas and on high ground."
The affected counties are Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Cavan, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Louth, Longford, Monaghan, Donegal, and Connacht.
There is also a weather warning still in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Munster from 12am to 10am on Saturday.

Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly warned that latest charts are showing there will be "very strong gusts" tonight heading into tomorrow. He wrote on Twitter: "Latest high resolution charts showing wind gusts for tonight and tomorrow with some very strong gusts late tonight into early Saturday!"
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Heavy rain at times, with highest accumulations in mountainous regions. Unseasonably windy conditions also. Potential Impacts: localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions, increased debris, and damage to temporary outdoor structures."

Saturday
Tomorrow, Saturday will be windy, with fresh to strong southerly winds developing in the morning. It will be a cloudy start to the day, with outbreaks of showery rain for a time.
The rain will clear to sunny spells and just isolated showers in the afternoon and the winds will gradually moderate. Highest temperatures of 19 to 21 degrees.
Saturday night
Largely dry and clear with winds easing to a light southerly breeze. Later in the night, heavy showers will move up into the south. Cooler than previous nights with lows of 9 to 11 degrees.
Sunday
A bright morning with a few showers in places. Showers will become widespread and increasingly heavy in the afternoon and evening, with thunderstorms likely in parts. Winds will be mostly light, although gusty at times due to showers. Highs of 17 to 21 degrees.
Sunday night
Showers will clear early Sunday night, however rain will later develop in the south and west. Lows of 10 to 13 degrees.
