Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for the whole country as Ireland prepares for a downpour tonight and tomorrow.
The warning is valid from 3am on Monday morning to 8pm on Monday night, November 21.
It states that "heavy or thundery pulses of rain Sunday night and Monday will lead to flooding in places".
Meanwhile, an extra Status Orange rain warning will be in place tomorrow for Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.
The warning is valid from 7am Monday to 12pm noon the same day and reads: "Some very intense falls of rain are possible.
"There will be flooding in places - see yellow warning."
The overall weather forecast has it being mostly dry and clear early on Sunday night before the warning kicks in.
A touch of grass frost is possible in Ulster as temperatures dip between 0C and 5C.
Met Eireann adds: "However, wet and breezy weather will push up from the southwest overnight with freshening southeasterly winds. The rain will turn heavy or thundery in places later with flooding in places expected."
Meanwhile, as noted, it will be a wet start to Monday.
Met Eireann adds: "Outbreaks of rain will continue across most places into the afternoon with further flooding expected. While a gradual clearance will develop in the southwest and west, heavy showers will follow the rain. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Winds will slowly ease though the day before veering westerly and again increasing fresh to strong and gusty over Munster."
Overall over the coming days it will be unsettled, with rain or showers most days and temperatures close to normal.
The following is Met Eireann's day-by-day forecast for next week:
MONDAY NIGHT: Some scattered outbreaks of rain will occur, along with mist and fog patches. Where clear skies persist, frost will develop too. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees, in no more than moderate westerly breezes.
TUESDAY: Scattered outbreaks of rain will occur, mainly across the north and northeast early on, and later across the southwest. Longer drier spells too though with some sunshine getting through too. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11degrees, in mostly moderate southwesterly breezes.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Showers will persist across Atlantic counties with longer clearer spells elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees, in moderate, occasionally fresh southerly winds.
