Met Eireann have issued an urgent warning for Dublin with thunderstorms and rain possible from 12pm today
The national forecaster has said they are issuing a warning for Dublin for "localised slow-moving showers with heavy downpours, potential thunderstorms and a chance of hail". Possible impacts include flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
The Status Yellow warning will be active until 10pm today.
Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford have also received the Status Yellow warning.
