Met Eireann issue urgent 24-hour warning for three counties as gale force winds cause havoc across Ireland

Three counties on the west of Ireland are set to get a battering on Thursday and Friday, as a 24-hour wind warning has been issued by Met Éireann.

The entire island is set to take a tonking around the coasts, with gale force nine winds set to cause havoc on the seas.

However, if you're in Galway, Donegal or Mayo, you may need to wrap up that little bit warmer.
