Met Eireann have issued a first glance at Ireland's "uncertain" Christmas Day 2022 forecast but have said December will likely be a drier month than normal.
The forecaster said that November is expected to end on a much drier note than of late, with below average rainfall but higher temperatures than normal. However, as we head into the last month of the year, temperatures are likely to dip lower while conditions remain dry.
Met Eireann added that while their Christmas week forecast is still uncertain, they expect rainfall to be lower than usual. Here's their forecast for the next month:

Week 1, November 28 until December 4:
"Week 1 looks to end November on a much drier note than of late, as high pressure looks to be the dominant influence over our weather. Rainfall is likely to be below average for the time of year, and temperatures also look to be slightly above average.
Week 2, December 5 until December 11:
"Week 2 has a similar story with high pressure being the dominant influence over our weather for early December. Rainfall will likely by much lower than normal for the time of year, though temperatures will possibly dip lower than the average.
Week 3, December 12 until December 18
"By Week 3, uncertainty grows in the forecast, and there is little signal in the way of high or low pressure dominating our weather. However, temperatures will likely be average for the time of year. Rainfall amounts in the south and southeast will likely be higher than normal, with below average amounts expected elsewhere.
Week 4, December 18 until December 25
"Looking further ahead to week 4, uncertainty in the forecast grows. Again, there is little signal in the way of dominant pressure patterns establishing, though rainfall amounts are expected to be lower than normal for the time of year."
