Two Met Eireann warnings have been issued for Ireland with stormy conditions set to move in from the Atlantic on Friday.
The first status yellow warning comes into place at 3pm for Donegal, Galway and Mayo with gusts of up to 110km/h until midnight.
A separate warning has been issued for rain in Cork, Kerry and Galway again from 6pm until 6am on Saturday - flooding is possible in these areas.
It's set to be a miserable weekend across the country as the stormy weather moves in this afternoon.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Cloud will build from the west today with rain developing along the west coast around midday, spreading gradually eastwards across the country through the day. Becoming increasingly windy too, with southerly winds increasing fresh to strong and gusty with gales developing on Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees, coldest in Ulster.
"A wet and windy night with widespread rain and strong and gusty southerly winds, reaching near gale force along western coasts. The rain will be persistent in parts of the west bringing a risk of localised flooding. Temperatures increasing overnight to between 6 and 9 degrees. A clearance to scattered showers will move into the west towards dawn.
"Saturday will be a breezy day with outbreaks of rain in the southeast clearing to widespread blustery showers through the morning, with some heavy bursts in places. Some sunny spells will occur also with the showers becoming isolated towards evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in fresh and gusty southwest winds."
