Met Eireann forecasters have warned that we're in for a horrid weekend with heavy rain, hail and isolated thunderstorms on the way.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: "A dull and damp start today with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will clear to the north in the afternoon, followed by sunny spells and heavy showers.
"There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms and hail later. Highest temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees in moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, easing later."
