Met Eireann has given its verdict on whether Ireland will see snow in early December.
The forecaster has released its latest monthly predictions, which reach as far as December 15.
Temperatures have taken a dip this week, with warmer conditions such as those seen last week thanks to foehn winds unlikely to return.

Friday, November 18 to Thursday, November 24
Low pressure will dominate our weather throughout Week 1, keeping conditions very unsettled.
There will be frequent spells of rain or showers, resulting in substantially above average rainfall accumulations, particularly in the west and southwest.
After the recent spell of unseasonably warm weather, temperatures will turn marginally cooler than normal for this time of year, with some frosty nights likely.
Friday, November 25 to Thursday, December 1
Low pressure will remain dominant in Week 2, bringing further changeable conditions across the country. It is expected to stay relatively wet, with above average rainfall in most areas.
It will also turn slightly warmer than in Week 1, with marginally above average temperatures.
Friday, December 2 to Thursday, December 8
Current projections for Week 3 indicate a shift to high pressure, giving us more settled weather overall.
Rainfall amounts are forecast to be somewhat below normal for the time of year, with temperatures typical for early December.
Friday, December 9 to Thursday, December 15
Considerable uncertainty remains for Week 4. Early indications are that there will be little change from Week 3, with high pressure remaining dominant.
Rainfall amounts are forecast to remain somewhat lower than normal, with temperatures again fairly typical for the time of year.
Meanwhile, tonight will start off mostly cloudy with showery rain. It will become drier and clearer as the night goes on, but the rain will persist in northeast Ulster, and there will be a few showers in the southwest too.
Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees in a moderate to fresh westerly wind.
Tomorrow, outbreaks of rain will linger in northeast Ulster, and there will be scattered showers in the southwest.
Other areas will stay dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with a moderate to fresh west to northwest breeze.
Friday night will be cold, dry and clear, though cloud will build in the west towards morning.
There will be widespread frost as temperatures fall to between -1 and +3 degrees in a light west to southwest wind.
