Heavy rain and strong winds are set to lash Ireland as Met Eireann has forecasted a miserable few days.
A Status Yellow weather warning was issued for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, and Waterford. The national forecaster warned that "spells of heavy rain overnight Tuesday through to Wednesday night will lead to localised flooding". The warning will be in place tomorrow from 4am until 10pm.
Dublin will enjoy a lovely sunny day today but it will become breezy later with moderate to fresh east to southeast winds increasing from fresh to strong. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees.
