Ireland is expected to be hit by the remnants of what was previously considered to be a tropical storm in the coming days.
Blustery conditions and some rain are expected on Friday and at times throughout the weekend.
The remnants of what was previously referred to as Tropical Storm Alex are expected to hit the country this week.

The storm has moved across the Americas, killing at least three people in Cuba and flooding South Florida.
Now referred to as ex-tropical storm Alex, it will move through Ireland and the UK, bringing some weather changes with it.
Met Eireann 's Siobhan Ryan told the Irish Mirror : “We do have that tail end of what is now ex-tropical storm Alex out in the Atlantic.
“We’re in for some windy weather once again on Friday.
“Showers tending to be widespread throughout the day, heaviest for the western half of Ireland.”
Despite the dangerous conditions experienced elsewhere, the storm, which was the remnants of Hurricane Agatha in the Eastern Pacific, shouldn’t pose too much of a threat for Ireland.
“We shouldn’t see anything necessarily untoward either.
“I don’t anticipate any warnings, so nothing expected in that regard - maybe some at sea you might get near-gales,” she said.
Ryan said that it will be “unusually” or “unseasonably” blustery later this week, with a “mixed picture” expected for the weekend. Showers are expected in the northwest, as well as moderate winds.
