No. 3 Michigan took down No. 2 Ohio State at The Big House on Saturday in the biggest game of the college football season thus far.
Despite a heroic effort from Buckeyes receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the Wolverines left with a 30–24 victory over their rivals, punching a ticket to the Big Ten championship against No. 17 Iowa and almost certainly securing a spot in the College Football Playoff in the process.
The announced attendance at Michigan Stadium on Saturday was 110,615—the 315th consecutive game the Wolverines have hosted in front of 100,000 or more fans.
When the victory was sealed, it felt like all 110,615 wanted to get onto the field to celebrate, resulting in some truly stunning scenes.

As fans took over the field, they sang along to “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers, basking in the glory of their third straight win over the Buckeyes.
Michigan fans rushed the field and are singing Mr. Brightside. Now, they’re playing Sweet Victory from Spongebob.

There is no other sport like college football.
Michigan will face off against No. 17 Iowa in the Big Ten championship next week. Barring a disaster there, the Wolverines will be heading to the College Football Playoff with a shot at the national championship.
