Merseyside Police issue ban ahead of Eurovision 2023

Merseyside Police Police Eurovision

Police have issued a ban as part of their policing operation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

Merseyside Police announced on Thursday, May 4, they will be implementing flight restrictions over Liverpool City Centre between today and Sunday, May 14. The action affects the use of drones and does not affect commercial flights.

Police will be patrolling land, sea and air as part of their operation to keep people coming to the city safe.
