Merseyrail is reminding people of its special timetable for those heading to the Grand National Festival at Aintree.
The region's rail operator is running a specific timetable for the three-day festival which begins today. Merseyrail will operate a seven-and-a-half minute service running between Liverpool city centre and Aintree station for the duration of the festival.
All Northern line services will run to an amended timetable. Passengers should check the journey planner for up-to-date departure times before travelling.
