Merseyrail services to be disrupted on three days this month

Merseyrail Network Rail

Merseyrail will run a limited train service for three days as three further days of strike action across the rail network are held.

On Saturday 5, Monday 7 and Wednesday, November 9 there will be three 24-hour strikes carried out by Network Rail staff who are members of the RMT union.

While Merseyrail staff are not part of the strike action, the region's network will be affected by the national walk-out as Network Rail signalling and maintenance employees will be taking industrial action. This means Merseyrail are limited in the number of trains that they can run by the number of Network Rail signalling and maintenance staff that are available.
