Merseyrail has confirmed it will be increasing its rail services.
The rail operator reduced its timetable earlier this month - with trains arriving every 30 minutes. It cited the impact of the COVID Omicron variant resulting in reduced staff availability.
But as cases continue to fall across the region, Merseyrail has said it will be increasing services across the network from Monday, February 14.

Changes to the timetable include services increasing to 20 minutes on the Southport & Hunts Cross and Ormskirk & Kirkby lines, Monday to Saturday until 8pm. A 30-minute services will remain in place on both lines every Sunday.
The Chester Line will return to a 15-minute frequency from 7am until 7pm. They will operate every 30 minutes before and after these times.
The Ellesmere Port line will continue to operate a 30-minute service all day. A 30-minute service will also remain in operation on Sundays on both lines.
West Kirby & New Brighton services will continue to run every 20 minutes from the start of service until 7pm. They will then operate every 30 minutes until the end of service. A 30-minute service will continue to operate on Sundays.
A spokesperson from Merseyrail said: "Passengers are reminded that, while face coverings are no longer mandatory on public transport, they are encouraged to wear one whilst travelling on the network out of respect for others.
"Merseyrail continues to closely monitor staffing and passenger levels as the City Region emerges from the COVID -19 pandemic and further timetable changes may happen as circumstances change.
"Merseyrail encourages all customers to check before you travel."
