Merseyrail passengers could face travel chaos this week as a number of services were reduced
The operator announced that passengers travelling on the Kirkby and New Brighton lines will face limited services and rail replacements, starting on Monday June 6. Merseyrail says this is due to an 'unexpected' increase in wear on train's wheel bearings.
Some services will also be cancelled on the West Kirby line. Passengers have been urged to check for updates before travel and to allow more time for their journeys.
