Mercedes-Benz is making major cuts to its lineup. The German automaker wants to slim down its offerings, particularly on the EV side, with at least three models scheduled to meet their maker for the 2027 model year.
A company spokesperson confirmed to Car And Driver that the EQE sedan (both standard and AMG), Mercedes-AMG S63 E Performance, and Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV are all on the chopping block for next year. As the automaker continues bringing its EVs closer to their gas-powered counterparts, the 2027 model year will mark an important step in that transition.
