The NSW Swifts struggled with the "mental game" in 2024, but shrewd recruiting has boosted Helen Housby's confidence that her side can contend again.

The Swifts' previous season featured emotional turmoil, off-court drama and a seven-game losing streak that put them at risk of collecting the Super Netball wooden spoon.
