Police have released CCTV pictures of men they want to speak with after an attempted break-in at a Nottingham home. Officers were called to an address in Sherwood Vale, Mapperley, at around 6pm on Wednesday (July 6) after suspected intruders were disturbed.
Video from the scene shows a single man approaching the property and knock on the door, reports Nottinghamshire Police. He is joined shortly afterwards by three other men – all wearing gloves – who allegedly passed through a side gate to the back of the property.
The footage continues with the men reportedly hurriedly leaving the scene after they were disturbed by the homeowners. Detectives investigating what happened believe that somebody should recognise the men.

Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Burglary offences are extremely upsetting for victims and we work hard to thoroughly investigate every case that is reported to us. This was a particularly upsetting incident for the victim and we are absolutely determined to get justice for her.
“These CCTV images are very clear and the men featured in them appear very distinctive. Do you know them or have they called at your house in the recent past? If so we urgently want to hear from you.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 647 of 6 July 2022.
