Men threatened with knife in Cabot Circus as one left with broken jaw and nerve damage

A man suffered a broken jaw and lasting nerve damage after being punched multiple times during a robbery at Cabot Circus. Avon and Somerset Police is appealing for information after a group of unknown men assaulted and stole an iPhone and a TAG Heuer watch from two people last year.

At around 4.30am on April 7, 2022, the pair met a group of men at the fountains in Bristol. They walked together through the town centre before reaching Cabot Circus.

Once at Cabot, one of the men borrowed one of the men’s phone and then refused to return it. When they confronted the offenders, they were threatened with a 'bladed article'.

At this point, one of the alleged victims was punched multiple times, sustaining a broken jaw and nerve damage. The other was punched in the stomach.

Investigating officers have now released a CCTV appeal following the robbery. They are keen to identify the men in the images as they believe they have relevant information.

The force say: "The men in the images are described as wearing black/dark clothing and jogging bottoms."

It adds: "If you have any information, or can identify the men in the photos, please call us. If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222081959, or complete our online appeals form.
