Two men shouted antisemitic abuse at a Tube passenger and then punched him in the head in an attack, British Transport Police have said.
Detectives with the force said the attack took place on a Bakerloo line Tube at around 2.40pm travelling from Baker Street to Regent's Park on Armistice Day, November 11.
A pro-Palestinian demonstration was taking place in central London at the same day, which saw 300,000 people descend on the streets of the capital.
Skirmishes also broke out between police and the far-right counter-protesters opposed to the event taking place.
On Monday two men plead guilty to using racist verbal abuse towards pro-Palestine protesters outside London's Waterloo station on November 11.
A BTP spokesperson said officers also believe that the Tube attack "is in relation to the protest".
The two attackers shouted antisemitic abuse at the victim, with one then punching him in the head, causing him to fall to the platform floor at Regents Park station.
Issuing an appeal for more information on Tuesday, officers said one suspect was described as a black man with a stocky build, around 5ft 8” and thought to be in his late 20s.
His face was covered by a black bandana.
The other suspect is described as an Asian male, with a heavy build, about 6ft, and thought to be in his late 20s.
