Memphis Depay is reportedly open to returning to Manchester United in a last minute switch before deadline day.

United, therefore, may be looking at contingency striker plans and the Manchester Evening News understands that Depay is a name the club are looking at. The attacker spent an uninspiring two years at Old Trafford between 2015 and 2017.

He netted just seven times in 53 games before his exit to Lyon. However, Give Me Sport say the forward - who is yet to play for Barcelona this season - is open to a return.
In fact, he claims the player has been offered to United, although some at the club are unsure how he would fit into Ten Hag’s plans. Depay, 28, scored eight times in his first 14 league games for Barcelona but last summer, but his season then staggered due to multiple injuries.
