It's been seven years since clubbers branded one Halloween night in Liverpool city centre as "the busiest they'd ever seen it."
For years, a number of pubs, clubs and other venues have hosted themed nights on Halloween, attracted customers from across Merseyside and beyond. But one year stands out in particular for clubbers who remember "hundreds" in the city-centre streets dressed in costume - a night that at the time was compared to New Year’s Eve in Times Square.
The renowned 2015 Halloween night saw videos and images emerge of swarms of revellers crowding Fleet Street in Ropewalks. The footage showed a huge amount of clubbers in Concert Square as they try to squeeze past each other to get down Fleet Street.

At the time, Paul McGee, brand and marketing manager for Baa Bar, told the ECHO: "In the 10 years working in the industry I have never seen the street look like it did. It took 20 minutes to get from Concert Square to Baa Bar when it is normally a 10 second walk.
"It beat Christmas and New Year and showed that Halloween is now absolutely huge. And the fact that it fell on a Saturday helped." He continued: "It was an amazing atmosphere.
"There was no trouble, people were just here to have a great time. At the moment we seem to be the place to be - it’s a great time to be in Liverpool."
The ECHO previously questioned whether it was one of the busiest nights ever seen in the city centre and hundreds of people shared their thoughts on the night. As we embark on Halloween 2022, we've taken a look back at some of your memories shared on social media from that time.
