A charity supermoto event being held at Nutts Corner next week will help raise vital funds for the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance Service.
The Philip Wylie Memorial Supermoto Incorporating the DJ Memorial and first round of the Supermoto Winter Series will take place at Nutts Corner Kart Track on Saturday, November 5 .
Former Ulster and Irish Supermoto Champion Phillip Wylie tragically died from injuries sustained during the fourth round of the Supermoto Championship in February 2020, devastating the motorcycle community.

In his memory, riders from across the country are coming together to celebrate the life and the legend of the County Antrim man whose name is synonymous with Supermoto in Ireland, North and South.
Co Donegal rider and newly crowned Sunflower Trophy winner Richard Kerr will race on a TM530cc machine and will join two of his brothers in competing at Nutts Corner.
Local rider Scott Swann, who recently made the shift from Yamaha to Gearlink Kawasaki in the British 600 Supersport Championship, finds himself back on a Yamaha YZF450 where he is guaranteed to present a real challenge for the title.
Justin Reid will take part in the Quad Supermoto Class. Reid is well known as a prominent member of Team Ireland and multiple representative of our island in the Quadcross De Nations.
"The combination of terrain promises to keep it interesting for both riders and spectators. Reid on his 400cc 2 stroke is likely to be both seen and heard at Nutts Corner on Saturday," a Temple Club spokesperson said.
"The weekend will see an opportunity for riders to step away from teams and training and ride with friends and family, at the same time paying tribute to Philip who so many knew so well.
"The Temple Motorcycle & Athletic Club end their calendar year by hosting the nonprofit event to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance Service, the chosen Charity of Philips’s family.
"The Club extend their thanks to The Wylie family, riders & all the race sponsors."
Racing starts at 11am. Admission: Adults £5 Under 16s go free. Spectator tickets are available at the gate & online.
