Melbourne Storm are keeping tabs on Catalans Dragons youngster Joe Chan, according to reports down under. The forward has caught the eye with his performances in the south of France this season and it seems he is attracting interest from down under.
Chan came through the ranks with Catalans and over the last year or so he has worked his way into Steve McNamara’s plans. He has scored tries in the Dragons’ last two Super League outings and it seems his form has not gone unnoticed.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Melbourne have been watching the 20-year-old ahead of potential move. Chan’s dad, Alex, made 32 appearances for the Storm during his playing career between 2004 and 2005 and the NRL club may be hoping to make the most of that family connection

It is thought Chan is in the final year of his contract at the Stade Gilbert Brutus and a move to the Southern Hemisphere to link up with legendary coach Craig Bellamy may just appeal.
It is well known that NRL clubs are looking to recruit young talent from the Super League, with English starlets Kai Pearce-Paul and Will Pryce being targeted by Newcastle Knights, according to reports.
