Where There’s a Will There’s a Wake
A playful Mel Giedroyc replaces Kathy Burke for a new series of the funeral-themed podcast, which effortlessly smuggles death into the celebrity chatshow format but never feels overly flippant. Her first guest is comic Suzi Ruffell, who reckons that her clumsiness might be what leads to her demise. Perhaps she’ll rollerskate off a pier, making her plans for a beach-side vigil – complete with fish and chips – all the more apt. Hannah J Davies
