Spice Girls star Mel B has fuelled rumours the superstar girl group are set to reunite at next year at next year's Glastonbury Festival, following in the footsteps of Sir Elton John, who earlier in the day announced he is to headline at Worthy Farm in 2023.
In an appearance on Channel 4 's The Big Narstie Show on Friday, Scary Spice teased the possibility during a chat about the forthcoming 25th anniversary of the band's movie, Spiceworld.
"If you do Glastonbury can I be the hype man?" asked 37-year old rapper and host, Narstie, real name Tyrone Mark Lindo.
Mel replied: "Yeah, I would like that. That would be cool."
Co-host Mo Gilligan then interjected: "So you are playing Glastonbury?", leaving Mel to coyly respond: "Yes, I think so! But I’ve got to convince the four b*****s to do it with me!"
Excite Mo continued: "So the Spice Girls are playing Glastonbury?"
Before Mel playfully backtracked: "Stop it, stop it! I never said that!"
It follows comments made in September by bandmate Mel C, who also seems keen on the idea.
She said: "100 per cent I’d like to do it. I believe that is too big a gig for VB [ Victoria Beckham ] to be busy that night."

Mel also used her appearance on the show, meanwhile, to criticise James Corden, labelling the former Late Late Show host as one of the 'biggest d***heads in showbiz.
Adding that the older she gets, the less tolerance she has for annoying people, s he said: "I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting - we all work for the same thing. So you should always be nice and he hasn’t been very nice."
Asked who the most annoying celebrities, she quipped: " So, there’s a few. James Corden, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J and me. I know, I love Geri to bits but she’s really f***ing annoying."
The Big Narstie Show airs on Channel 4 on Friday nights, with catch-up on All 4.
