Leeds-born superstar Mel B has previously opened up on emotional and physical abuse she faced from ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, which he has vehemently denied.
The singer claimed she attempted to leave her marriage for a decade but found it to be an 'impossible' situation.
Mel B also spoke candidly about her traumatic experience with domestic abuse during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

And emotionally admitted being abused 'does crush your soul' as she claimed it would take 'forever to get that back', and explained how women in situations like hers struggle to get out of it.
Now her daughter, Phoenix Brown has spoken out about growing up in an abusive household.
The 22-year-old is working with Women's Aid in schools and is urging others in her position to seek help since new figures show that "intimate partner violence" has doubled since the start of the pandemic.
Speaking to ITV Phoenix revealed that growing up in the United States with her mum and Mr Belafonte was lonely because it was like having a secret that no one could know about.
"For me, it was just the constant thought of feeling alone and helplessness because I didn't know what to do and I didn't know who I could go to," she said.
"The resources weren't really available to me back then as much as they are to the people and I appreciate that, but my experience isn't something I would put on my worst enemy."
However, the singers daughter is now going into schools and colleges as an ambassador for women's aid and said that she can help people with similar stories because she understands their situation.
"Even though I don't know them and I don't know their life, I can understand the situation that they're in on a personal level.
"If I had had that growing up, to understand that I wasn't alone and that it wasn't my fault and there's ways that you can go round the situation it would have helped me so much."
Mel B was recently awarded an MBE in the New Year for services to charity and vulnerable women. She has been patron of the charity Women's Aid since 2018 and is a huge force in the organisation.
The singer, known to adoring fans as Scary Spice, shared the moment she told her father about her MBE.
Mel’s dad passed away in 2017 however visited his grave to share the amazing news.
She shared a post to her Instagram crouched down by his grave in a camouflage coat and UGG boots and captioned the post: "This was the moment I told my dad about my MBE.
"On his deathbed I promised him I would leave my abusive marriage.
"He gave me that strength. He would be so proud, I’m overwhelmed, honoured and grateful and as patron of @womens_aid I will NEVER stop this fight to.”
