Meghan Markle will make 'high end celeb-based products' amid Dior 'rejection' and podcast axe

Meghan Markle has recently suffered two huge business blows with the Duchess' Spotify podcast being cancelled and now rumoured reports that the royal won't be working with Dior after all.

The former Suits actress now needs to find another way of making a name for herself away from the Royal Family now that it's unlikely she will become the new Duchess of Dior, the Mirror reports.

A spokesperson for the fashion house shut down any speculation of Meghan having recent contact with Dior as they told Women's Wear Daily that a collaboration deal with the Duchess was not on the table and no contract negotiations have been touted.

However, it's now believed that the 41-year-old royal might take a fresh approach to furthering her career and personal brand with the actress rumoured to be "making a few high end celebrity-based products" in the future, an expert has claimed.

Royal expert Tessa Dunlop exclusively told Mirror US: "Even the Royal Family might take heart.

"After all last month the Sussexes promised that they had nothing left to say about their time in The Firm."

The historian and writer, added: "If things go according to plan, former actress and Hollywood stalwart Meghan will soon be making a few high end celebrity-based products on a new platform minus any royal input.

"Which begs the question, what about Harry?"

Meghan and Harry's Spotify deal worth around £18m was one of the first deals the Sussexes established after stepping down from the Royal Family in 2020.

They released a one-off episode together before the Duchess launched her own award-winning series Archetypes where she would invite other celebrity guests on to discuss women's issues.

Just weeks before her show was cancelled, Meghan even won Top Entertainment Podcast Host at the Gracie Awards but chose to skip the ceremony despite her huge win.

During the course of her 12-part series, Meghan chatted to the likes of Paris Hilton and Mariah Carey before it was decided that Spotify would not renew the podcast.
