The Duchess of Sussex wore a pair of pearl earrings gifted to her by the late Queen as she took part in a historical funeral procession in London today.
Meghan Markle joined her husband Prince Harry and other members of the royal family as the Queen's coffin made its final journey from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, where her body will lie in state for four days ahead of her state funeral on Monday.
Meghan Markle travelled by car alongside the Countess of Wessex during the procession, while the Princess of Wales sat with Queen Consort Camilla in a separate vehicle.

The Duchess wore a stunning set of pearl earrings which where gifted to her by the late monarch. Meghan wore them during her only solo engagement with the Queen in June 2018.
Meghan chose the sentimental earrings to honour her late grandmother-in-law, as she wore the gifted jewellery during a visit to Chester with the late Queen, where they were pictured giggling together and enjoying each other's company.
The classic earrings that Meghan wore today are very similar to the pair that the Queen wore during their solo outing in Chester.
During the special trip, Meghan and the Queen travelled to Cheshire overnight in the Royal Train.

She also wore diamond drop-pearl earrings that were previously owned by the late Princess Diana.
