Meghan Markle stunned in a fiery red two-piece last night at the One Young World summit in Manchester - but there may be more to her statement outfit choice. It was the first public appearance in the UK for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since returning from LA for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.
The former Suits star - who made a keynote address at the opening ceremony of the event that sees young leaders from more than 190 countries come together - stepped out in a bold, red, sleek trouser suit. Meghan, 41, sported a silky drape-neck blouse (£467) paired with matching straight-leg high-waisted trousers (£510) - both from label Another Tomorrow, which specialises in sustainable and high-quality garments.

She completed the look with a pair of red T-bone pointed heels from Italian brand Aquazzura. One expert says the Duchess was dressed appropriately to deliver her empowering speech to the 2,000 delegates, while taking colour block inspiration from the Queen's signature bright suits.
Body language expert Darren Stanton, who analysed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's appearance in Manchester on Monday evening, has revealed how 'stoic' Meghan confidently 'asserted her dominance' while Harry appeared much more 'reserved' than usual.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren says Meghan was in red for a reason.
"Similarly to Kate Middleton, Meghan has her own go-to colours which she wears depending on the occasion she is attending.
"For her speech, knowing she would be centre stage, Meghan chose the shade of red, an extremely powerful colour, one that denotes being supremely confident and is often associated with superheroes - wearing such a colour shows the mindset Meghan wanted to adopt for that particular event."
Fans of Meghan on social media praised her getup, with one woman saying " Meghan Markle is fire ".
The visit to the UK comes just days after Meghan's wide-ranging interview with The Cut magazine in which she said it takes "a lot of effort" to forgive and hinted that she can "say anything".
The former Suits actress said that "just by existing" she and Harry were "upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy" before they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.
Their next stop is Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year To Go event which is taking place on Tuesday, before they return to the UK for the WellChild Awards in London where Harry will deliver a speech on Thursday.
