The Duchess of Sussex is seeking to heal the four-year rift with her father Thomas Markle and has reached out to his camp in a bid to make amends, the Mirror reports.
The news came after Mr Markle left hospital having suffered a stroke. The stroke was caused by a blood clot on the right side of his brain. He is believed to have been in hospital in San Diego, a three-hour drive from the Sussexes' California mansion.
The 77-year-old said: "I feel hugely grateful and know how lucky I am to be alive. I want to thank everyone, especially the wonderful doctors and nurses who saved my life.
